Early Life and Club Career

Leonardo Spinazzola, born in Foligno, Italy, began his footballing journey with local clubs before joining the youth academies of Siena and Juventus. In early 2011, Spinazzola was included in Juventus' first-team squad.

Seeking regular playing time, Spinazzola was loaned out to Empoli in the summer of 2012. He made his Serie B debut for the club in September against Novara and scored his first Empoli goal against Livorno. The following year, Spinazzola spent time on loan at Virtus Lanciano and Siena, making his debut for both clubs and scoring his first goal for Siena against Reggina.

Transfer to Atalanta

In the summer of 2014, Spinazzola was acquired by Atalanta on loan. He made his Serie A debut against Hellas Verona in August. Following a loan spell with Vicenza in Serie B, he returned to Atalanta in 2016.

Atalanta became the permanent home for Spinazzola, who impressed with his technical abilities and versatility. He became a key player in the club's success, helping them reach the Champions League for the first time in their history.

International Career
