At the age of 11, Westermaier made his electrifying debut in Munich's Herkules Hall. Since then, he has graced concert stages in over 20 countries, including Germany, France, Italy, and beyond. His extensive repertoire encompasses masterpieces by Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, and many others, while also showcasing his passion for contemporary music and jazz.
Notable Performances and Collaborations
Westermaier has performed with prestigious orchestras such as the Munich Symphony, the Munich Chamber Orchestra, and the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra. In 1995, he dedicated a concert in the Great Hall of the Munich Conservatory to Soviet music, honoring the presence of renowned composer Rodion Shchedrin. In 1997, he triumphed at the "Riviera del Conero" Pianists' Competition in Ancona, Italy.
