Leonti Dzhakhia: A Renowned Figure in Philosophy and Cosmology
Early Life and EducationLeonti Dzhakhia was born in Sukhumi, Georgia. He graduated with a degree in philology from the Sukhumi Pedagogical Institute in 1956. Subsequently, he embarked on his academic career at the same institution in 1960.
In 1970, Dzhakhia earned his doctorate from Moscow State University with a dissertation titled "Classification of Sciences: A Philosophical and Scientological Problem."
Academic Career
Throughout his career, Dzhakhia held various teaching positions in international institutions. From 1977 to 1978, he lectured at Sofia University in Bulgaria, and from 1983 to 1986, he taught at Comenius University in Bratislava, Czechoslovakia.
From 1980 to 1993, Dzhakhia headed the Department of Philosophy at the Georgian Institute of Subtropical Agriculture in Sukhumi. Presently, he serves as a professor at the Sukhumi branch of Tbilisi Ivane Javakhishvili State University.
Contributions to Philosophy
Theory of KnowledgeDzhakhia's work in epistemology focuses on classifying various types and forms of human knowledge. He arranged them into a hierarchical order, from sensory forms (sensations, perceptions, representations) to visual forms (models, maps, drawings), artistic forms (sculpture, painting, music, literature), and finally, abstract forms (schemes, symbols, verbal expressions).
Scientology
Dzhakhia also developed a classification of sciences, which he defined as an abstract-theoretical model that aims to accurately reflect the relationships among sciences at different stages of human development. He categorized sciences into theoretical (fundamental) and applied.
Cosmology
In the realm of cosmology, Dzhakhia proposed a concept for the origin and evolution of metagalactic matter within the observable Metagalaxy. He introduced the notion of a metagalactic vacuum as a subquantum level of matter. Dzhakhia posited that in the strong gravitational fields of "cosmological black holes,"物質粒子と原始プラズマ(水素70%、ヘリウム30%)が誕生します。プロト銀河はメタ銀河の中心から周辺に向かって移動し(「銀河の拡散」、「宇宙の膨張」)、標準的な星と惑星系の発生シナリオが展開されます。
