Early Career

Kozak's football journey began at FK Opava, where he played for the youth team before breaking into the first team in 2007. In 28 appearances, he netted 11 goals for Opava in the Czech Second Division.

Unsuccessful Portsmouth Trial and Move to Lazio

Despite a brief trial with Portsmouth in 2008, Kozak failed to impress the English club. However, SS Lazio saw potential in the young forward and acquired his services for €1.2 million in June 2008.

Primavera Success and First-Team Debut
