Biography of Lidia Frantsevna Lesnitskaya
Legal Education and Doctoral DissertationIn 1948, Lidia Frantsevna Lesnitskaya commenced her legal studies at Moscow State University, graduating in 1953. Subsequently, she enrolled in the postgraduate program at the All-Union Institute of Legal Sciences (VIYUN). In 1959, she successfully defended her candidate dissertation on "Grounds for Reversing Appealed Court Decisions," guided by Professor Alexander Filippovich Kleinman.
Academic Career
Lesnitskaya's distinguished academic career commenced with her appointment as Senior Research Fellow at the Department of Civil Law and Process at the Institute of Legislation and Comparative Law under the Government of the Russian Federation.

Lesnitskaya has authored over 200 scholarly works on civil procedural law, including:
