Biography of Linda Davis
Linda Davis, the Guinness World Record holder and owner of the tallest donkey in the world, is an American woman living in Watsonville, California. Her most remarkable achievement in life is her donkey named Oklahoma Sam. Sam has gained fame as the holder of the Guinness World Record for being the tallest donkey in the world.

At 54 years old, Linda takes great pride in her donkey. Sam, who is now four years old, officially holds the title for being the tallest donkey in the world. This record is documented in the Guinness World Records book, specifically in the 2013 edition. Standing at a withers height of 155.45 cm, Sam is taller than an average woman. Not only is he tall, but he is also incredibly charming, as seen in photographs.

Linda's relationship with Sam goes beyond just being the owner of a record-breaking donkey. They have become best friends. Sam willingly follows Linda everywhere and affectionately nuzzles her hands. When Linda decided to get a donkey, she specifically chose a baby instead of an adult donkey. She found a suitable breeder in Oklahoma and reached out to them, expressing her desire to have a donkey as a birthday gift for her 49th birthday. The breeders sent her several photos of baby donkeys, and one particular donkey caught Linda's eye. It seemed as though he was saying, "This is me!" from the photograph. Thus began the heartwarming friendship between Linda and Sam.
As Sam grew, it became evident that he was surpassing his peers in terms of size. Linda continued to nourish and care for her beloved donkey. Although their diet primarily consists of grass, donkeys are not picky eaters. Linda admits that being included in the Guinness World Records is incredibly important to her and Sam. She believes it is a wonderful achievement as Sam is the love of her life.
Aside from Linda's dedication to Sam, his life is filled with joy. He has other animal companions, such as dogs, geese, and ducks, and enjoys chasing after them when he's not resting under the shade of trees. It is quite amusing to witness this giant donkey frolicking around like a puppy. However, as known to all animals, size doesn't matter.
