Biography of Linda Wolfe

Linda Wolfe, an American woman and a Guinness World Record holder, is known for her numerous marriages. Born Linda Lou Taylor in 1940 in Alexandria, she had her first trip down the aisle at the age of 16. According to Linda, her first marriage to George Scott was the happiest.

After being married to Scott for seven years, Linda's subsequent marriages ended much quicker. She had a diverse range of husbands, including a priest, a musician, a one-eyed criminal, and a homeless man. Some of her husbands were abusive, while others showed more interest in other men. Linda married Jack Gourley three times and spent only 36 hours in marriage with Fred Chadwick.

Linda has seven children from her different husbands, and the number of stepchildren is countless. Despite her tumultuous personal life, Linda takes pride in the fact that she remained faithful to all of her twenty husbands. Her last husband was Baptist minister Glynn Wolfe, who held the record for the most marriages among men. She was married to Wolfe for just a week, and he passed away a year after their separation. Linda still carries his last name.

Currently, Linda resides in a retirement home and seems content with her life. Although she occasionally reminisces about her past, she has not been married for the past twelve years. However, if Linda ever feels lonely, she knows she has the option to get married again, considering her extensive experience. Some may argue that at her age, thinking about another marriage is too late, but others believe that having a close soulmate is essential in old age. Who knows, perhaps Linda's 24th marriage will be as successful as her first one?
