Lindsay Wagner, the popular American actress and recipient of several awards, including an Emmy, was born on June 22, 1949, in Los Angeles, California. When she was seven years old, Wagner's parents divorced, and she moved with her mother to the northeast side of Los Angeles, near Pasadena. From an early age, Lindsay dreamt of an acting career and had a deep passion for various forms of art. At the age of thirteen, she was offered a role as a teenager in a television series. However, upon the advice of a family friend, James Best, Wagner decided to wait until she was a little older to pursue her acting career. Soon after, Lindsay's mother remarried, and the newly blended family moved to Portland, Oregon, where she enrolled in David Douglas High School and became actively involved in local theater productions. Later, Lindsay attended the University of Oregon, where she excelled as one of the top students and received her degree.
