Early Career in Brazil

Lino commenced his footballing journey in Brazil, honing his skills at renowned clubs such as Corinthians, São Caetano, Figueirense, São Paulo, Bahia, Fluminense, and Juventude.

Move to Europe

In 2007, Lino embarked on a new chapter in his career by joining Portuguese club Académica Coimbra. During his time with Académica, he made a significant impact, contributing 5 goals in 29 appearances.

Stint at Porto

Lino's impressive performances at Académica caught the attention of Portuguese giants FC Porto. He was acquired by Porto but unfortunately struggled to establish himself in the team. Over a span of one and a half seasons, Lino featured in only 17 matches.

Career High: Goal Against Fenerbahçe

Despite his limited playing time at Porto, Lino etched his name in club lore by scoring a pivotal goal against Turkish club Fenerbahçe in the 90th minute of a Champions League match.

Arrival at PAOK
