Biography of Lisa Cross

Lisa Cross is a British athlete, bodybuilder, and former anorexic. Despite never having been to Russian villages, the sight of a galloping horse and a burning hut would not be a problem for her - Cross is rightfully considered one of the best female bodybuilders in the world. Twenty years ago, it was impossible to predict her success - at that time, Lisa would exist on just a few slices of fruit a day and suffer from other symptoms of anorexia. The muscles of 35-year-old Lisa Cross are envied by many men. Although she works hard to maintain her physique, the results are clearly worth it. Looking at Lisa, it is impossible to even imagine that she once suffered from anorexia as a teenager. At 15 years old, Lisa Cross weighed only 41 kg. Despite pressure from those around her, Lisa managed to cope by starving herself. She did not see any other way to maintain her 'perfect' form. She was not successful in other areas either - she did not excel academically and did not possess any other talents. Cross followed an incredibly strict diet to burn off weight. She would have a small portion of fruit for breakfast and spend the rest of the day on just water. Lisa would refuse to eat in front of anyone and would skip meals whenever possible. Her family tried to make her see reason, but unfortunately, they faced aggression in response. It was not until her hair began to fall out that Lisa truly realized the danger of her path. Hair loss was not the only health issue caused by her extreme diet - her heart was affected, her joints were in pain, she constantly felt cold, and her energy levels were depleted. Lisa's eating habits dramatically changed, but her new diet was not particularly healthy either. She consumed sweets and energy drinks feverishly, burning off the extra calories with intense workouts in the gym. She continued this routine until the end of her university education, by which time she weighed around 75 kilograms. It was her time in Japan that finally helped Lisa find the right lifestyle. There, she learned about the importance of healthy group eating and began to see food as a source of energy, a fuel for the body. It was in Japan that Lisa became interested in bodybuilding. She decided to thoroughly study the subject and purchased several books online. In one of the books, she came across photos of Negrita Jayde. Lisa was amazed by Jayde's physique, but later realized that achieving a similar body was not impossible after consistent training. Lisa spent four years in Japan, during which she made friends with local bodybuilders and learned a lot about her chosen path.

In 2007, Lisa traveled to Las Vegas to participate in the Miss Olympia competition. Once again, she realized that the figures of professional athletes were not unattainable and that she could achieve similar results in the near future. Lisa embarked on her journey with determination, and in 2009, she began preparing for her first competition. Her debut was a success - she placed second in the NABBA Universe tournament and won the UK BFF British competition the next day.

Lisa Cross

Now, Lisa Cross is preparing for the Miss Olympia competition, which she hopes will be the pinnacle of her athletic career. While some may find it foolish to exert so much effort and time for a trophy, for Lisa, the title of the best female bodybuilder in the world will be a symbol of the victory she achieved in her battle with herself.
