Lisa Dennis - British Taekwondo Master and Guinness World Record Holder
Lisa Dennis is a British master of Taekwondo and a Guinness World Record holder. She set the world record for the most number of roof tiles broken with bare hands in one minute among women.
The Guinness World Records Italian Show
When Lisa Dennis, a Taekwondo master from the United Kingdom, turned 40, she became a participant on the "Guinness World Records Italian Show." In the studio, there were 1000 roof tiles arranged in 100 piles of 10 tiles each. Right from the start, Dennis smashed two piles simultaneously using both hands. Continuing in this exhausting mode, she destroyed about two-thirds of the roof tiles. For the rest of the time, Lisa used her right hand, which prevented her from breaking all 1000 tiles as initially planned. Only two tiles survived the blows of the Taekwondo master. Dennis' achievement of breaking 923 roof tiles was recorded in the Guinness World Records. Her record is officially named "Most roof tiles broken in one minute among women."
The Fastest Destruction of 1000 Roof Tiles
On March 26, 2014, Lisa set another record for the fastest destruction of 1000 roof tiles among women. Her time was 83.98 seconds. The record was documented in Orpington, London. Interestingly, a similar record among men belongs to Lisa's husband, Chris Pitman. On August 19, 2013, he broke 1000 roof tiles in 51.08 seconds in Bromley, UK.
