Early Career and World Cup Debut

American cross-country skier grew up in Minnesota, where she honed her skills in the snowy landscape. In February 2007, she made her debut in the FIS World Cup, the premiere competition in cross-country skiing.

Breakthrough Performance and Olympic Debut

While Stephen had some notable performances in team events, securing a spot in the top ten at three World Cup relays, her personal best remained an impressive 17th place. In November 2012, she achieved a career milestone by claiming a podium finish in a team relay at the World Cup.

Olympic Experience: Vancouver 2010

Stephen represented the United States at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. She competed in two individual events, placing 49th in the 10 km freestyle and 57th in the 7.5 + 7.5 km skiathlon.

World Championships and Equipment

Throughout her career, Stephen also participated in two World Championships. In 2011, she helped the US team secure a 9th-place finish in the relay. Individually, her highest placement was a 15th-place finish in the 7.5 + 7.5 km skiathlon at the 2009 World Championships.
