Logan Marshall-Green: A Journey to Leading Roles
Early Life and EducationLogan Marshall-Green was born on November 1, 1976, in Charleston, South Carolina, to an English teacher and a Marine father. Growing up with his identical twin brother, Taylor, Logan's childhood was filled with artistic endeavors.
After graduating from Barrington High School, he enrolled at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where he honed his writing skills as a contributor to "The Daily Beacon" newspaper. His passion for music and theater led him to continue his education at the National Theater Institute in Connecticut and New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, where he earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
Television and Film Debut
Marshall-Green's acting career began in 2003 with a minor role in an episode of Dick Wolf's "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit." He went on to guest star in another episode of "Law & Order" in 2004.
Breakouts and Leading Roles
In 2005, Marshall-Green landed a breakout role as Richard Heller in six episodes of the hit television series "24." He also gained recognition for his role in the teen drama "One Tree Hill" (known as "Lonely Hearts" in the US).
In 2010, he took on his first leading role in the supernatural horror film "Devil," demonstrating his versatility as an actor.
