Early Life and EducationLois McMaster Bujold was born in Columbus, Ohio, and attended Upper Arlington High School. She pursued higher education at The Ohio State University from 1968 to 1972.
Literary Career
Bujold gained widespread recognition for her "Vorkosigan Saga," a series of science fiction novels set on the militarized planet Barrayar. The protagonist, Miles Vorkosigan, is the enigmatic son of a high-ranking aristocrat.
In recent years, Bujold has delved into the fantasy genre, creating the "Chalion" series, which revolves around the kingdom of Shalion.
