Early Career and Domestic Success
Kamenár's professional career began in 2004 with Spartak Trnava, where he made 67 appearances and scored 3 goals. During his tenure at Spartak, he helped the team win two Slovakian Championship bronze medals and reached the Slovakian Cup final once.
International Debut and German Adventure
In 2009, Kamenár made his debut for the Slovakian national team in a World Cup qualifier against San Marino, where he also scored his first international goal. The same year, he joined German club FC Schalke 04 on a loan deal, but later returned to Spartak.
