Montenegrin Football Player

Luka Đorđević is a Montenegrin professional footballer and forward for Russian club Zenit Saint Petersburg.

Early Career

Đorđević's football journey began with Montenegrin club FK Mogren, where he played from 2001 to 2012. During his tenure, Mogren won the Montenegrin Championship in the 2010/2011 season. The following season, Đorđević made 24 appearances and scored 10 goals. He also featured in the Champions League qualifying match against Bulgarian club Litex Lovech.

Transfer to Zenit

In 2012, Đorđević made the move to Zenit Saint Petersburg. The club's then-manager, Luciano Spalletti, spoke highly of the young forward, noting his potential but emphasizing the need to observe his development. Đorđević made his debut for Zenit on July 11, 2012, in a 6-0 friendly match victory against FC Rus. He scored the final goal of the match with an assist from Aleksandr Bukharov. On July 16, he received the number 77 jersey.

Club Debut and Performance

Đorđević's competitive debut for Zenit came on August 11, 2012, in a 5-0 away win against FC Spartak Moscow, replacing Vladimir Kanyunnikov in the second half. He made his first starting appearance in the following match against FC Anzhi Makhachkala in Makhachkala, where he was hailed as the best player on the field by fans.

International Career

Đorđević represented Montenegro at the under-21 level and participated in the qualification for the European Championship. In August 2012, he received his first call-up to the senior national team. He made his debut on September 11, scoring a goal against San Marino.
