Lukas Haas is an American actor who was born in Hollywood, California in 1976. He comes from a creative family, with his mother Emily Tracy being a writer and his father Berthold Haas being an actor. Lukas has two twin brothers, Simon and Nikolai, who are also actors and musicians.
Early Career
Lukas Haas started his acting career at a young age, with his first roles in film coming when he was just five years old. He was noticed for his talent even in preschool, and his first appearance on screen was in the 1983 drama "Testament" directed by Lynne Littman. The following year, he played the role of a young boy named Samuel who witnesses a murder in the dramatic thriller "Witness" directed by Peter Weir. This film won two Academy Awards, a Golden Globe, and a BAFTA Award.
In 1984, Lukas also made his television debut in the comedy "Love Thy Neighbor" directed by Tony Bill. He continued to actively pursue roles in both film and television, gaining valuable experience as an actor even before reaching adulthood.
