Luke Grimes is an American actor who has played a variety of roles in both film and television. Early Life
Luke Grimes was born in Dayton, Ohio as the youngest of four children. His parents, Angie Barker and Randy Grimes, raised him in a religious household. In 2002, Grimes graduated from high school and moved to New York City to pursue acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.
Early Career
In 2006, Grimes appeared in the horror film 'All the Boys Love Mandy Lane', which received mixed reviews. The following year, he starred in the independent film 'War Eagle, Arkansas', which won several awards at film festivals.
In 2008, Grimes had a small role in the neo-noir comedy 'Assassination of a High School President' alongside Bruce Willis. He also appeared in the third season of the ABC series 'Brothers & Sisters' as Ryan Lafferty, a recurring character.
Recent Projects
In 2010, Grimes starred in the pilot episode of the FX series 'Outlaw Country'. The show did not get picked up for a full season, but the pilot was released as a television film in 2012. In 2012, he appeared in the thriller 'Taken 2' as the love interest of the main character's daughter.
