Rise to Success in Aviation

Lyudmila Jonatovna Bratash was born into a military family in Minsk, Belarus, in 1960. Despite her early fascination with aviation, she pursued a career in journalism, writing articles on music and eventually working for the press center of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Undeterred, Bratash eventually realized her dream in aviation by founding Al Air, a company specializing in arranging VIP flights. Her exceptional negotiation skills allowed her to secure exclusive services and bypass fuel supply shortages during a crisis. Bratash's income from a single flight reportedly exceeded $10,000.

Personal Life and Controversies

Bratash's personal life, however, was less successful. She had several romances but never married or had children. Her alleged marriage to a French pilot was disputed by her family.

In 1998, Bratash met actor Nikita Dzhigurda in Minsk, and their relationship quickly developed into close companionship. However, Bratash's financial situation declined as VIP clients acquired their own planes.

The Will and Death

While on vacation with Dzhigurda and his wife, Marina Anisimova, in 2010, Bratash composed and notarized the infamous will bequeathing her estate to Dzhigurda and Anisimova. The actor claimed it was for the construction of a spiritual center in Greece.

In 2016, Bratash was found dead in her apartment, succumbing to a detached blood clot and head injury. Dzhigurda, who handled her burial, claimed her inheritance amounted to 800 million rubles.

The Inheritance Dispute and Dzhigurda's Legacy

The will ignited a legal battle, with Bratash's sister and nephews contesting its validity. Initial estimates valued Bratash's assets at around one-third of Dzhigurda's claimed amount.

Dzhigurda's determination to obtain the inheritance was marred by controversy. He released a sexually explicit video featuring him and an unconscious woman resembling Bratash, claiming it was a form of "moral resuscitation." This incident led to Anisimova filing for divorce and Dzhigurda assaulting her lawyer at a court hearing.

The inheritance dispute and subsequent scandals overshadowed Bratash's entrepreneurial achievements, painting a tragic and bizarre end to her life and leaving a lasting mark on the public's memory of Dzhigurda.
