Madilyn Sweeten: Early Life and Career Beginnings

Madilyn Sweeten was born in Brownwood, Texas, and began her acting journey at the tender age of three at the Kay Scott School of Performing Arts in San Saba, Texas. At the age of four, she made her television debut in the film "Promise to Carolyn."

Breakthrough with "Everybody Loves Raymond"

Madilyn's breakthrough came in 1996 when she landed the role of Ally Barone, the eldest daughter of Ray Barone in the hit CBS sitcom "Everybody Loves Raymond." The show ran for nine seasons, ending in 2005. Madilyn's younger brothers, Sullivan and Sawyer, played her on-screen siblings, Geoffrey and Michael Barone.

Film and Voice Acting

Alongside her work on "Everybody Loves Raymond," Madilyn also appeared in several films, including "The Christmas Path," "A Dog of Flanders," and provided voicework in "Toy Story 2." She also starred in the 2001 TV movie "Ask Me No Questions" and the critically acclaimed 2003 independent film "American Splendor."
