Marcelo Brozović: Croatian Football Star
Early CareerMarcelo Brozović, a Croatian midfielder, began his football journey with Croatian club HNK Hajduk Dragovoljac. He made his debut in the Second Croatian League in 2009, contributing to Dragovoljac's promotion to the First League for the 2009/10 season. In 2010, Brozović marked his debut in the Croatian top division, playing against Dinamo Zagreb.
Loan to Lokomotiva Zagreb
After two seasons with Dragovoljac, Brozović moved to Lokomotiva Zagreb in the summer of 2011 for a fee of £264,000. He quickly established himself as a key player, helping the club secure second place in the league.
Transfer to Dinamo Zagreb
In August 2012, Brozović made a high-profile move to Dinamo Zagreb for £2.112 million. He signed a seven-year contract and made his debut in a match against NK Osijek. Brozović also made his UEFA Champions League debut against FC Porto in September 2012.
International Career
Brozović represented Croatia at various youth levels, notably scoring seven goals in six qualifying matches for the 2015 UEFA European Under-21 Championship. He earned his senior debut in May 2014 and has since established himself as a regular member of the national team.
Move to Inter Milan
In January 2015, Brozović joined Inter Milan on loan with an option to buy. He chose to wear the iconic number 77, previously worn by Sulley Muntari. After impressing at Inter, the club exercised their purchase option to make the transfer permanent.
