Early Life and Club Career
Youth Career and Debut

Renato Tapia began his footballing journey as a youth player for Dutch club Twente. He made his professional debut for Twente on August 9, 2014, in a match against Cambuur. On January 31, 2015, he scored his first goal for the club in a match against Cambuur.

Move to Feyenoord

In early 2016, Tapia transferred to Feyenoord for a transfer fee of €2.4 million. He made his debut for his new club on February 7 in a match against Ajax. In 2017, he played a pivotal role in helping Feyenoord win their first league title in 18 years.

International Career

Youth Teams

Tapia represented Peru at the 2011 South American U-17 Championship in Ecuador and the 2013 South American U-20 Championship in Argentina.

Senior Team Debut

He made his debut for the Peruvian national team in a friendly against Venezuela in April 2015. In the summer of 2016, he participated in the Copa América in the United States.

First International Goal

On September 7, 2016, in a 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Ecuador, Tapia scored his first goal for Peru.
