Early Life and Education

Marek Reichman was born in Sheffield, England, in 1966. His Polish immigrant father, who narrowly escaped death during World War II, instilled in Marek a passion for art and design. At the age of six, Marek's mother passed away from cancer, leaving his father to raise his two sons on his own.

Industrial Design and College

Recognizing his son's talent for drawing, Marek's father encouraged him to pursue education in the field. Marek excelled in industrial design, earning a distinction from Newcastle College. He later went on to study at the prestigious Royal College of Art in London.

Rover Cars, BMW, Land Rover

Marek's early career included stints at Rover Cars, BMW's California branch, and Land Rover. He played a key role in designing the groundbreaking Range Rover 2003 model.

Aston Martin Design Director

In 2005, Marek joined Aston Martin as the Director of Design. Aston Martin's CEO, Ulrich Bez, was impressed by Marek's portfolio and offered him the position after a phone call interview.
