Margarita Voiska is a Bulgarian chess player and grandmaster. She has represented the Bulgarian national team in several Olympiads from 1980 to 2008, achieving her best result in 1984 with 8.5 points out of 12 on the first board. In the Interzonal Tournament held in Smederevska Palanka in 1987, she finished in 11th-12th place.
International Tournament Successes
Throughout her career, Voiska has had remarkable performances in international tournaments. In the Athens tournament in 1983, she secured the 5th position. She claimed the top spot in the Plovdiv tournament in 1985 and finished in 2nd-3rd place in the Playa de Aro tournament in Spain in the same year. She also achieved 1st-2nd places in the Asenovgrad and Baile Herculane tournaments in 1985. In the Warsaw tournament in 1986, she finished in 2nd-3rd place, and in the Primorsko tournament in 1987, she claimed the 1st place.
