Biography of Marisa Miller

Marisa Miller, an American supermodel, was born on August 6, 1978, in Santa Cruz, California. At the age of 16, representatives from two Italian modeling agencies noticed her, leading her to start her modeling career in Italy. In 1997, she graced the cover of the magazine "Perfect 10" and was ranked as the third most beautiful woman in their annual survey.

In 2001, Miller met renowned photographer Mario Testino, who invited her to participate in a surfing photoshoot on the Manhattan Beach in California. This collaboration led to more opportunities for Miller, including photoshoots for American and Italian editions of the famous magazine "Vogue." She became a representative for the fashion brand "Victoria's Secret" and appeared on the cover of the "Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue."

As her fame grew, Miller was sought after by numerous other publications, such as "GQ," "Maxim," "Glamour," "Cosmopolitan," "Marie Claire," "Elle," and "Vanity Fair." In July 2008, she launched her own line of footwear.

Miller also made appearances on television. In 2004, she appeared on the reality show "The Search for America's Most Gorgeous Male Model" and starred in the music video for the song "Spin You Around" by the American rock band "Puddle of Mudd." In 2007, she participated in the show "The Shot" and later filmed a commercial for "Victoria's Secret" alongside Heidi Klum.

On December 4, 2007, Miller made her debut at the "Victoria's Secret Fashion Show" and opened the show in Miami in 2008. She continues to actively collaborate with "Victoria's Secret" and showcases their swimwear in various cities around the world.

Outside of her modeling career, Miller has been married twice. Her first husband was professional surfer Jim Miller, but their marriage was short-lived. On April 15, 2006, she married Hollywood producer Griffin Guess. Today, Miller serves as an ambassador for the charitable organization "American Cancer Society."
