Early Life and Education
Born in Queens, New York in 1949, Mark Canton graduated with honors from UCLA (University of Southern California, Los Angeles) in 1971.

Ascendancy at Warner Bros.
In 1980, Canton joined Warner Bros. as Vice President of Production. He was promoted to Senior Vice President in 1983 and to President of Worldwide Theatrical Production in 1985.
