Biography of Mark Strong

Mark Strong, whose real name is Marco Giuseppe Salussolia, was born on August 5, 1963, in London, to an Austrian mother and an Italian father. His father left the family shortly after Mark's birth, and he was raised by his mother, who worked as a house cleaner. Mark's English name is not his stage name; his mother officially changed it to make it easier for him to communicate with his peers. Mark was baptized in a Catholic church and is fluent in German and speaks some Italian.

Mark studied at Wymondham College, where he sang in punk bands "Electric Hoax" and "Private Party". On British television, Mark is a notable figure.
