Max Greenfield is an American actor known for his roles in various television series. He was born and raised in Dobbs Ferry, New York. Greenfield began his acting career in 1998 after finishing school. He started with small roles in TV series like "Boston Public," "Gilmore Girls," and "The O.C."

In 2000, Greenfield landed his first significant role in the series "Modern Men," where he played a character who sought help from a relationship coach to understand women better. However, the show only lasted for two months and seven episodes. Following the unsuccessful launch of "Modern Men," Greenfield took on supporting roles in more prominent series such as "Veronica Mars" and "Greek."
