Born in Cologne on January 15, 1992, Max is the son of Alexander, a former Olympic judoka and sports commentator, and Ulrike, a television journalist. His younger sister, Karolin, is also a multifaceted artist, working in acting, voiceover, and journalism.
Max's acting debut came in 2004 at the tender age of 12 in the comedy show "Kings of Comedy." He later voiced a character in "Little Polar Bear 2" (2005) and guest-starred in "Red Riding Hood" (2005) and "Bernds Hexe" (2005-2007). In 2013, he moved to Munich to study at the Otto Falckenberg School of Performing Arts.
Breakthrough and Rise to Prominence
Max's breakout role on the big screen came in 2013 as Daniel Becker in "Fack ju Göhte," which earned him the "Golden Camera" award for Best New Actor.
