Oleh Dyrdin: A Legal Scholar and Ukrainian Politician

Oleh Dyrdin is a prominent Ukrainian lawyer and politician. Currently serving as a member of the Ukrainian Parliament (IX convocation), he has a distinguished academic and professional background in the legal field.

Legal Education and Career

Dyrdin graduated from the National Academy of State Tax Service in 2005, majoring in Law. He continued his studies in the National University of State Tax Service, where he pursued a postgraduate degree and obtained a PhD in Law (2011). His dissertation topic was "Repetition in Investigative Activities." In 2013, he was promoted to the rank of Associate Professor.

Concurrently with his academic pursuits, Dyrdin held various legal positions. From 2006 to 2016, he served as an assistant, senior lecturer, and associate professor at the Department of Criminal Law, Procedure, and Forensic Science at the University of State Fiscal Service.

Private Practice and Corporate Experience

In 2009, Dyrdin was admitted to the Bar and established his own legal practice. From 2006, he also worked as the chief legal counsel for State Agricultural Corporation "Khleb Ukrainy."

In December 2016, Dyrdin became the chief advisor to the CEO of JSC "Santa-Ukraine."

Political Journey

Dyrdin's political career began as an assistant to Member of Parliament Ivan Kuras. In the 2019 parliamentary elections, he ran as a candidate for the "Servant of the People" party in electoral district No. 132 (comprising Perwomaisk, Arbuzynka, Bratske, Vradievka, Kryve Ozero, and Perwomaisk districts). He was elected while holding the position of chief advisor to the CEO of JSC "Santa Ukraine" and was unaffiliated with any political party.

Current Parliamentary Role

As a member of the Ukrainian Parliament, Dyrdin is part of the Committee on Legal Policy. This committee plays a key role in developing and scrutinizing laws and regulations related to the legal system and administration of justice in Ukraine. Dyrdin's legal expertise and experience make him a valuable contributor to this committee.
