Football Career

Early Years

Aliaksei Yanushkevich is a Belarusian professional footballer currently playing as a defender for FC Dinamo Brest. His journey began at the age of 15 when he joined the Volkovysk District Youth Sports School.

Professional Debut

Yanushkevich's professional career commenced in 2007 with MTZ-RIPO Minsk (later renamed FC Partizan Minsk). Over five seasons, he accumulated 59 appearances for the team. He also participated in 62 matches for the club's reserve team, scoring one goal.

International Experience

Yanushkevich trained with the Scottish club Heart of Midlothian. In 2012, he inked a contract with FC Neman Grodno before joining FC Dinamo Minsk in 2015. During his time with Dinamo Minsk, he played in five group stage matches of the UEFA Europa League (2015/16) and scored a goal against Spanish side Villarreal CF.

Career Abroad

In January 2016, Yanushkevich made the move to Croatia, signing a 2.5-year contract with HNK Split.

National Team Career

Youth and Olympic Team

Yanushkevich represented Belarus at the youth level, winning the Granatkin Memorial in 2007. He also featured in friendly matches for the Olympic team and was included in the final squad for the 2012 London Olympics but withdrew due to injury.
