Mel B, also known as Melanie Brown or "Scary Spice," is a singer and former member of the Spice Girls. She was born on May 29, 1975, in Leeds, a city in northern England. From a young age, she loved singing and performing, and like the other Spice Girls, she enjoyed being in the spotlight. She was always confident and acted in a way she saw fit.

After finishing school, Mel B enrolled in a three-year course at Leeds Music College, where she studied to become a drummer. She then started spending a lot of time in nightclubs.
