Melissa Rivers, born Melissa Warburg Rosenberg on January 20, 1968, is an American actress and television presenter. She is the talented daughter of the famous actress Joan Rivers and British producer Edgar Rosenberg. Melissa's father, who was once a producer and a well-known figure in the film industry, tragically passed away in 1987 by suicide.

Melissa attended the private John Thomas Dye School before enrolling in The Buckley School. In 1989, she graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with great success. The following year, Melissa made her first public appearance and was crowned Queen Shenandoah LXIII at the annual Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival in Virginia.

In the same year, she began her television career by joining the cast of the TV series "Beverly Hills, 90210," which aired until 2005.
