Biography of Melody Cook

Melody Cook is an American girl and the owner of a very unusual goat named Happie. Happie became the Guinness World Records' champion in 2014 for the 'Longest Skateboarding Ride' by covering a distance of 36 meters in 25 seconds. While skateboarding is not uncommon for humans, having a real goat on a skateboard is truly remarkable. Melody Cook lives in Fort Myers, Florida and she claims that it was entirely Happie's personal initiative to get on the skateboard. Melody and her family decided to adopt Happie as a domestic pet when she was just a couple of months old, following her mother's desire to have an unusual pet. Having already had dogs and cats in their home, they wanted something different. That's how Happie came into their lives. At the age of 4-5 years, Happie has now become a global celebrity after officially entering the Guinness World Records.

Happie's Skateboarding Record

Happie's unusual hobby turned out to be a record-breaking activity. The goat displayed both the ability and the passion for skateboarding. When the representative from the Guinness World Records officially measured Happie's achievement, she covered a distance of 36 meters on the skateboard in 25 seconds. This record was published in the record book for the year 2014. Melody believes that she realized Happie was not an ordinary goat, but an intelligent and talented one, when she exhibited behavior similar to that of a dog. Happie would jump around Melody when she wanted something, get excited and jump when her owners returned home, and generally behave quite differently from a typical goat. One day, Melody decided to go for a bike ride, and Happie attempted to jump onto her bike, indicating her willingness to join the ride. This inspired Melody to think about the possibility of a goat on a skateboard. Eventually, Happie was given a skateboard, and with some training from Melody, she started skateboarding.

Happie's Leisure Activities

When Happie is not involved in skateboarding or hopping around Melody, she enjoys nibbling on grass, playing with chickens and ducks, or simply lounging in the shade of a tree. Similar to a dog, Happie knows how to give a friendly paw and loves attention. Melody admits that seeing Happie in the Guinness World Records filled her with a sense of pride.
