Paris and Artistic Pursuits
In 1924, he relocated to Paris, immersing himself in the vibrant art scene. He participated in numerous group exhibitions and salons, alongside hosting solo exhibitions of his own.
La Ruche and Community
For a period of time, he resided at La Ruche, a renowned artist community in Paris. Surrounded by fellow creatives, he flourished and honed his artistic skills.
Departure and Tragic Demise
Foreseeing the impending German invasion, he heeded the advice of friends and left Paris. However, tragedy struck on June 10, 1940, when a column of refugees he was traveling with came under fire from an aircraft south of Paris. His life and artistic endeavors were tragically cut short in this senseless act of violence.
