American actor Michael Anthony Angarano was born in 1987 in New York City to parents Michael and Doreen Angarano, who owned several theater studios in New York and Los Angeles. He made his first appearances on television at a young age, playing roles in series such as "Another World," "The Pretender," and "As the World Turns."
Rise to Fame
From the age of twelve, Michael started receiving more complex roles. During this period, he played the lead role in the television drama "Cover Me: Based on the True Life of an FBI Family." In 1999, he took on a significant role in Wes Craven's musical drama "Music of the Heart," where he portrayed Meryl Streep's 7-year-old son. Both Michael and Meryl had to learn how to play the violin for the film, a skill he continues to possess.
