Biography of Michael Buble

Introduction

Michael Buble is a Canadian singer who is often referred to as a young promising vocalist or a crooner. Born into a working-class family, Buble's father was a fisherman and his grandfather was a plumber. His grandfather introduced him to music and encouraged him to sing his favorite songs.

Early Career

Buble's musical journey began with performing in various bars for seven years. However, his breakthrough came in the year 2000 when he was noticed by producer David Foster at the wedding of the daughter of a former Canadian Prime Minister. Foster, who has worked with renowned artists like Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, and Barbra Streisand, helped Buble in creating his debut album.

Debut Album and Recognition

Buble's debut album was released in 2003 and sold two million copies. It earned him the title of "Best New Artist 2004" at the Juno Awards. The album included 13 cover versions of songs by Buble's favorite musicians.

Soundtrack Contributions

Two songs from Buble's debut album, "Kissing A Fool" and a cover of Frank Sinatra's "Come Fly With Me," were featured in films. "Kissing A Fool" was included in the soundtrack of the movie "Down With Love," while "Come Fly With Me" appeared in "Two Weeks Notice."

Second Album Controversy

In a disappointing turn of events, Buble's second album titled "Totally Buble" was released this year. The songs included in this album were actually written by Buble many years ago for the film "Totally Blondie." The rights to the soundtrack belonged to the film's producer, who decided to create an album using Buble's songs. Immediately after the release, Buble apologized to his fans and expressed his embarrassment about the album, stating that he would prefer his best works to be the ones known to the public.
