Biography of Michael Hebranko
Early LifeMichael Hebranko was born in 1953. At birth, he weighed 3.8 kg and showed no signs of becoming one of the heaviest people in medical history. As he grew older, Michael became increasingly prone to obesity. By his own admission, he was a victim of his insatiable appetite, easily consuming a dozen eggs and a loaf of bread in one sitting. By the age of 16, he already weighed over 150 kg.

Public Attention
In 1976, when Michael got married, he weighed around 400 kg. However, it wasn't until the late 1980s that the public became aware of him. He appeared on numerous television shows and documentaries, including an episode with renowned American dietitian Richard Simmons. Under Simmons' guidance, Michael started losing weight and underwent surgical interventions. In 1990, he was recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records for losing an astonishing 321 kg, reducing his waist by a remarkable 290 cm.

Post Weight Loss
After his incredible weight loss, Michael Hebranko became extremely popular. He traveled around the country, giving lectures and sharing his unique experience with others struggling with obesity. However, his weight began to increase again. Over the next seven years, he regained all 400 kg, falling victim once more to his insatiable appetite. Alongside his weight gain, Michael suffered from various health issues.

Final Years
In the late 1990s, Michael required hospitalization and had to be transported using special equipment typically used for whales and dolphins. His weight reached its peak at 500 kg in the summer of 1999. Although he managed to lose 80 kg later on, he spent most of his time bedridden. Michael Hebranko passed away in the summer of 2013 at the age of 60. The cause of death was attributed to the severe consequences of pathological obesity. Despite weighing only 250 kg at the time of his death, his body, exhausted from decades of struggle with excess weight, could no longer endure the hardships.
