Early Years

In 2001, Mikhail joined the second-tier Ukrainian side Stal-2 under the tutelage of coach Mykhaylo Ivanitsa. After making his mark at Stal-2, he moved to Karpaty Lviv in March 2007. However, his official debut for the club came on July 13, 2007.

International Experience

Kopolovets' loan spell at Belshina provided him with his first opportunity to play outside of Ukraine. He made his debut against FC Gomel in March 2014, but left the club in June due to family reasons.
