Biography of Michaela Schaffrath

Michaela Schaffrath, a German actress, was born in Eschweiler, FRG, into a family of a bricklayer and a housewife. After finishing school, she worked as a nurse for disabled children for almost 10 years.

Career as a Porn Actress

On October 7, 1994, Michaela married Axel Schaffrath. In 1999, the renowned European porn director Harry S. Morgan noticed an amateur porn film featuring Michaela and her husband. Morgan later hired her as a professional porn actress and she starred in eight films under the pseudonym Gina Wild.

Transition to Mainstream Acting

In 2000, Schaffrath decided to quit porn and try her hand at mainstream acting. Since then, she has appeared in German films, TV series, and various TV shows with varying degrees of success. In 2003, after a client recognized her, she confirmed that she occasionally worked at a brothel in Frankfurt, stating that it was not for the money but for the satisfaction of her sexual appetite.

On February 1, 2005, she announced her divorce from Axel and officially divorced on December 22, 2005.
