Biography of Mikhail Brodsky
Mikhail Brodsky is a Ukrainian politician and the Head of the State Committee on Entrepreneurship. He graduated from the Institute of Market Relations and Entrepreneurship at the International Center "Market" in 1996 with a specialization in management in the production sphere. He is an economist and manager, and also fluent in Italian.

Political Career
Mikhail Brodsky is a Ukrainian politician and the leader of the "Yabluko" party, which was a part of Yulia Tymoshenko's Bloc for some time. In 2007, he publicly accused Tymoshenko of attempting to bribe judges of the Constitutional Court. He has participated in the presidential elections in 2010, finishing in the 17th place with 14,991 votes (0.06%).
Business Career
Aside from his political career, Mikhail Brodsky is one of the largest entrepreneurs in Ukraine. In 1995, he opened the commercial shareholder bank "Dendi" in Kyiv. This bank originated from the conglomerate of the same name, which was led by Mikhail Brodsky. In the late 90s, the media frequently reported that the "Dendi" firm served as an "economic base" for the well-known Kyiv "authority" Vladimir Kysel. Through Brodsky's structures, money laundering operations were conducted. In February 1998, the National Bank of Ukraine revoked "Dendi" bank's licenses for all banking operations. In March of the same year, Brodsky was arrested and sent to the Zhytomyr pre-trial detention center, where he spent a total of one month. On April 21, 1998, he was released from custody as an elected deputy of the Verkhovna Rada. Before 1998, he owned the newspaper "Kyivski Vedomosti".
Personal Life
Mikhail Brodsky is married to Svetlana Brodskaya, and they have three children: Rostislav (born in 1980), Yuri (born in 1986), and Anna (born in 2004).
