Biography of Miho Takagi

Miho Takagi is a Japanese speed skater who has achieved great success in her career. She was born on July 22, 1994, in Nagano, Japan.

Early Career

Takagi made her debut at the Junior World Championships in 2009 when she was only 14 years old. She showed promising talent and finished second in the team race in 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012. In 2012, she won the Junior World Championships in the all-round competition and also achieved first place in the 1000m and third place in the 500m races.

Olympic Games

At the age of 15, Takagi became the youngest participant in the 2010 Winter Olympic Games held in Vancouver. She competed in two distance races and finished 23rd in the 1000m and 35th in the 1500m.

International Success

In 2011, Takagi won third place in the team race at the Asian Winter Games in Astana. She also excelled in individual races and finished fourth in the team race at the World Single Distance Championships.
