Michael Miller is an American professional basketball player who is currently playing for the NBA team, Washington Wizards. Known for his accuracy in three-point shooting, Miller attended the University of Florida from 1998 to 2000 and played for the university's basketball team. During his second year, Miller helped the team win the championship title of the National Collegiate Athletic Association.

He made a game-winning shot right as the buzzer sounded, securing the victory for his team. This success led to Miller being drafted as the fifth pick for the Orlando Magic in the NBA. In his rookie season in 2001, he played in all 82 games and was named the NBA Rookie of the Year.
