Biography of Michele Lecce

Early Life and Career

Michele Lecce, known professionally as Michele Loke, was born on December 5, 1973, in Cherignola, Italy. He developed a passion for painting, sculpting, and poetry from a young age, which earned him the nickname "Michelangelo" in school. Both of his parents were teachers, and his siblings, Pietro and Angela, also pursued careers in the arts. Michele began participating in television shows and taking on lead roles in theatrical productions during his childhood.

He obtained a bachelor's degree in applied arts with a specialization in architecture and furniture design in his hometown. He later earned a master's degree in the arts. Michele also completed a course in communication science with a focus on advertising at the University of Perugia.

Music Career

Michele spent 10 years working with the rock band "Art Decade" from 1988 to 1999. He then joined the band "Tasti Neri" for three years before collaborating with the German group "Unix." During this time, he also worked as a composer for renowned artists such as Maurizio Piccoli, Loredana Bertè, and Fiorella Mannoia.

In 1999, Michele moved to Liege, Belgium, where he ventured into acting and performing in the musical "Les nouveaux Nomades" by Claude Barzotti and Anne Marie Gaspard. Despite not knowing French, he recorded all the songs using phonetic writing. However, the project was eventually closed.

In Belgium, Michele was offered a position as a creative director at the "La Chapelle" studio in Waimes by producer Alec Mansion. He played various musical instruments, including the piano, keyboards, guitar, and drums, which allowed him to work as an arranger for several singles released in Belgium. He also performed with renowned musicians in Europe and Brazil.

Role in "Mozart, l'Opéra Rock"

Michele's talent and captivating voice led him to portray Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in the rock opera "Mozart, l'Opéra Rock," created by Dove Attia and Albert Cohen. His performance garnered critical acclaim, and he received three NRJ Music Awards in 2010 for his role. In October 2009, he was also honored with the "Prix Pouilles 2009" as a representative of the people in the arts.

Michele actively participates in charitable initiatives such as "Foot Concert," "Everyone Sings Against Cancer," and "Parents' House." In May 2011, he made his first appearance at "Restos Du Coeur Belges."

His final performance in "Mozart, l'Opéra Rock" took place in Paris on July 10, 2011. Following his success, Warner Music released an album that became a diamond record, selling over 750,000 copies.

On May 25, 2012, he collaborated with Gerard Lenorman on the song "Soldats, ne tirez pas." Currently, Michele is recording his solo album, expected to be released by Universal Music Group unofficially, although he is officially signed with Warner Music Group.
