Biography of Mikhail Grabovski

Mikhail Grabovski, a Belarusian hockey player, was born on January 31, 1984, in Potsdam, East Germany. He spent his childhood in Belarus and began playing hockey at a young age, representing the Minsk club 'Yunost' during his teenage years. Grabovski's talent helped the club win the title of 'Belarusian Champion'.

However, his career in Minsk was short-lived as he was quickly recruited by Moscow clubs. In 2003, Grabovski started playing for 'Dynamo' in Moscow. Yet, he didn't stay in Moscow for long as he was enticed by the fame of the NHL and moved to 'Montreal Canadiens'.

Despite a decent performance in the preliminary games, Grabovski was not selected for the National Hockey League. He only played a few games for the renowned 'Montreal Canadiens'. Instead, his career flourished as a part of the 'Hamilton Bulldogs' in the American Hockey League. In his first season, he played 20 games and scored 11 points.

To return to the NHL, Grabovski needed more than just one successful season. He eventually rejoined 'Montreal Canadiens' during the 2007-2008 season. However, his career in Montreal did not work out. Although he played the entire season with the team, he was eventually traded to 'Toronto Maple Leafs' for Greg Pateryn.

It was with the 'Maple Leafs' that Grabovski finally found his place in the hockey world. In the 2009 season, he played 78 games and scored 48 points. However, aside from his successful performance, Grabovski also demonstrated a complex character. He had conflicts with almost all the players from 'Montreal Canadiens' and was suspended for three games for fighting with a referee. He also caused a severe injury to Montreal's leader, Andrei Markov, which led to him missing the World Championship.

Despite his controversies, 'Leafs' signed a three-year contract with Grabovski, worth $2.9 million per year. Unfortunately, due to an injury, he was unable to participate in the Olympic Games. However, Grabovski still traveled to Vancouver to enjoy the sports spectacle. Yet, even there, conflicts arose, and on February 20, the famous hockey player was arrested by the Vancouver police for a brawl in a bar. Nonetheless, he was released shortly after the arrest.

Today, it can be confidently said that Mikhail Grabovski is not only one of the most talented hockey players in the world but also one of the most scandalous.
