Ukrainian sculptor and artist Mikhail Karlovskyi was born on May 26, 1968, in Mykolaiv, Ukraine. He graduated from high school in Kyiv in 1985 and served in the army in Moscow from 1987 to 1989.

From 1989 to 1992, Karlovskyi studied in the Sculpture Faculty of the Kyiv Art Institute (NAOMA) under Professors Ivan Makogon and Viktor Sukhenko. He furthered his education from 1992 to 1994 at the Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design in Halle, Germany.

Artistic Style and Approach
