Tragic Death of Miklos Feher

During a Sunday match of the national championship in Portugal, Hungarian striker Miklos Feher tragically passed away due to a heart attack. Playing for the Hungarian national team and defending the colors of "Benfica" since 2002, Feher lost consciousness after giving an assist in extra time and receiving a yellow card. Smiling at the referee, the footballer suddenly lunged forward with his arms stretched along his body, and then fell on his back. One of his teammates managed to catch Feher to prevent him from hitting his head, but unfortunately, they were unable to save the athlete. The game was interrupted for 15 minutes. Doctors made unsuccessful attempts to resuscitate the athlete, and by the time the ambulance arrived, he was already deceased. Some of the "Benfica" players couldn't hold back tears, and the team's coach, Jose Antonio Camacho, was also in tears. While an official cause of death has not been determined, doctors believe that Feher suffered from heart failure. Miklos Feher was only 24 years old and had played in 18 matches for his national team.

Second Tragic Death on the Football Field

This is the second death on the football field in recent months. In June 2003, Cameroonian midfielder Marc-Vivien Foe lost consciousness during the semi-final match of the Confederations Cup against the Colombian national team in Lyon and died from heart failure.
