Early Life and EducationBorn in Croatia, this enigmatic individual was a trailblazer in multiple fields. He pursued a law degree at the University of Zagreb, later attending the Vienna Conservatory, where he graduated in 1917.
Musical Career
Music played a pivotal role in his life. He co-founded the Zagreb Quartet in 1919 and remained its second violinist for an impressive 24 years (1919-1943). Additionally, he imparted his musical knowledge as a professor at the Zagreb Music Academy.

Beyond music, he harbored a passion for football. As a youth, he played for Koprivnica's student football club (now known as Slaven). In Vienna, he joined Rapid Wien and gained experience as a football referee. Upon returning to Zagreb, he established Croatia's first association for football referees.
