His mother, a musician and TV editor, encouraged his creative pursuits. Inspired by his grandmother's love of Serbian cinema, Radonic spent countless hours watching films, imitating the actors' performances.
Education and Stage Debut
After completing high school, Radonic pursued his acting dreams at the prestigious Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade, under the tutelage of renowned Serbian actor Dragan Petrovic. While still a student, he made his theatrical debut in 2010 in the comedy "New Chance."
Film Career
Radonic graduated from university in 2015 and quickly established himself as a rising star. He co-founded Archangel Studios with his colleague Milos Bikovic, where they frequently collaborated on projects. In 2017, he landed his first lead role in the historical drama series "Christmas Uprising."
Breakthrough with "South Wind"
Radonic's breakout performance came in the 2018 crime drama "South Wind," which chronicled the lives of Serbian mafia members involved in car theft and drug trafficking. Its popularity spawned a sequel and a TV series. In 2019, Radonic portrayed a negative character, separatist Amir, in the Russian-Serbian war film "Balkan Frontier."
Versatility and International Collaborations
Beyond action and crime films, Radonic has also excelled in comedies. In 2020, his portrayal of taxi driver Srecko in "Hotel Belgrade" earned critical acclaim. His international collaborations include roles in "Christmas Uprising" and the 2023 series "Balkan Wind," alongside Milos Bikovic, Oksana Akinshina, Eric Roberts, and William Baldwin.
