Early Career and Zeta
In 2001, Goran Kaluđerović joined the senior team of Zeta, a club from the Podgorica suburb of Golubovci. Making his debut for Zeta in the UEFA Cup against Bosnian side Široki Brijeg in 2005, Kaluđerović went on to play in the UEFA Intertoto Cup in 2006. In 2006-07, Zeta won the inaugural Montenegrin Championship under Kaluđerović's leadership, and the team reached the semifinals of the Montenegrin Cup.
Zeta's European Adventures
Zeta participated in European competitions in subsequent years, including the UEFA Champions League qualifiers in 2007. They faced off against Lithuanian club FK Kaunas and Scottish giants Rangers, with mixed results. In the UEFA Cup and Europa League, Zeta faced setbacks against Interblock and Dacia, respectively.
Trials and Transfers
In 2010, Kaluđerović briefly trialled with Moldovan club Sheriff but did not secure a contract. In early 2011, he was invited to attend a training camp with Ukrainian side Metalist Kharkiv.
International Career
Kaluđerović represented the Montenegro national under-21 team in UEFA tournaments, making a total of three appearances.
